Dome has a policy and long history of community engagement and support in Fiji. Regular open village meetings are held to seek understanding and support for exploration and development programs.

Meetings usually include Dome’s Community relations officer as well as Fiji management and geologists. They are conducted respecting the traditional Fijian culture and language. The Company often supplies funding and material support to schools and villages including educational equipment, building maintenance and infrastructure improvements at the request of the villages within or impacted by Domes exploration activities. Local people are employed in all aspects of exploration and development programs and preference is made to obtain supplies and support for exploration from the local communities.
